How can I delete my ShareChat account?

It certainly makes us sad to know that you do not wish to be a part of our family. Please note that you can submit your account deletion request by following the below-mentioned steps:

If you are an Android user, please follow the steps below:

Open the ShareChat app and go to your profile.
Click on the three lines present at the top right corner.
Select 'Account settings'.
Scroll down & then click on 'Delete Account'.
Now enter your mobile number in the box, and you will receive an OTP to proceed further to delete the account.

If you are an Ios user, please follow the steps below:

Open the ShareChat app and go to your profile.
Click on the 3dots present at the top right corner.
Click on "Account settings".
Scroll down & click "Delete profile".
Now enter your handle ID and mobile number in the box. Then fill in the necessary details & give the reason why you want to delete your account and click on submit.

Once the deletion feature is made available then the concerned team will update you on your deletion request.

You may also follow the below-mentioned steps in case you wish to deactivate the account:

Open the ShareChat app and go to your profile.
Click on "Account settings".
Scroll down & click "Deactivate profile".
