How to block a user?

The "block" option allows you to prevent a user from contacting you, or viewing your profile or posts and prevents notifications from that user. It's a useful tool for maintaining privacy and safety online.

To block a user, please follow the below-mentioned steps:

Go to the user profile
Click on the 3 dots present at the top right corner of the screen
Click on "Block User" & it's done.

What happens when you block someone:

No More Contact: The user you block will no longer be able to contact you through direct messages or chat within the ShareChat app. They won't be able to send you messages, comment on your posts, or interact with your content in any way.

Invisibility: Your profile and content will become invisible to the user you've blocked. They won't be able to see your posts, profile, or any updates you make on the platform.

Notifications: You won't receive any notifications from the blocked user. This includes notifications for messages, comments, likes, or any other interactions from that user.

Note: The users you block won't be notified, and if you choose to unblock them later, they can resume interacting with you on the platform.
